One of these devices, immediately to the left of the grid, functions as the collector for tumble wins.
There’s not much excitement in terms of the slot’s symbols. Tumble Feature
If a winning cluster hits, the symbols involved will disappear, with new icons dropping down to fill the empty spots. If a new win emerges from this tumble, the process continues until no new clusters are formed.
Multiplier Spots
After each tumble, the position of a random symbol from the winning cluster is marked. If the next cluster formed involves this marked spot, a 2x multiplier will be awarded. Subsequent winning symbols on the same spot cause the multiplier value to keep doubling, up to a maximum of 128x. The Sugar Twist Review – Our Final Verdict
If our Sugar Twist review was released earlier than May 2023, you’d be forgiven for thinking we’d accidentally played Sugar Rush instead. The similarities are so striking, it appears that Pragmatic Play has simply slapped a different name on the same slot.
However, the massive boost in the RTP is arguably one of the best additions to any release in recent times. While the switch from paylines to a Cluster Pays mechanic makes for a very different feel, even if the look is almost identical.
In truth, we’d have preferred to see the maximum win potential increased from 5,000x too. After all, this is a highly-volatile slot. That would have probably led us to rate Sugar Twist even more highly. Still, you can’t have your candy and eat it too.
