Mega Moolah 2024: First Mega Jackpot Winner

Mega Moolah 2024: First Mega Jackpot Winner

It’s official – Games Global has announced the first Mega Moolah Mega Jackpot winner of 2024, with the newly-crowned millionaire walking away with a staggering €6,689,308. Launched in 2006, the longstanding Mega Moolah progressive jackpot is legendary in the world of online gambling and can now be won on over 20 different themed games in the series. However, this win is from the first game in the series.

The Mega Moolah series is no stranger to handing out jackpots. In 2023 alone, four lucky winners walked away with millions from the Mega Jackpot across several different games in the series. One lucky player had a Christmas miracle, with a win of €13,528 on Book of Mega Moolah on Christmas Eve.

The latest jackpot winner has been confirmed as the first of 2024 and is now €6,689,308 better off, thanks to a €3 bet on the original Mega Moolah game.

How the Mega Moolah Jackpot Is Won

The Mega Moolah series offers four progressive jackpots – Mini, Minor, Major, and Mega, each with progressively larger prizes.

When you place a real-money bet on a Mega Moolah slot, a portion of it is used to increase the progressive jackpots, which means they grow rapidly as players around the world continue to make bets.

The progressive jackpot wheel is triggered randomly, which means it’s mostly down to luck. However, you do have a greater chance of it appearing when increasing the stake on each spin. Notably, over half of the Mega Jackpot winners throughout Mega Moolah’s history so far were betting an average of €6.25 per spin. However, there have been plenty of winners with lower bets.

If you manage to trigger the Mega Moolah jackpot wheel, you’ll get the chance to spin it once. Odds are that you will walk away empty-handed. However, as the combined jackpot winnings of over €700,000,000 since 2006 have shown, you might just take a slice of the prize.

The Biggest Mega Moolah Jackpot Win

As the Mega Moolah Mega Jackpot is progressive and winners are determined by chance, there have been times when the prize has grown significantly as it remained unclaimed. A great example of this is the record-winning Mega Jackpot, which paid €18,915,872 to a lucky player in September 2018.

However, one of the most notable things about this staggering win is the fact that this Mega Jackpot was claimed from a meagre €0.75 bet, which shows that it isn’t only the high rollers who have a chance to win big.
