Regular Symbols

The lower-paying symbols in Pot O’Gold are the classic playing cards. 10, J and Q award payouts of 0.25x, 0.5x and 5x, for three, four and five matches. However, the K and A offer greater rewards of 0.5x, 2.5x and 7.5x.

What’s interesting here is that there is only one high-paying symbol, the Pot O’Gold logo. It returns 0.10x, 2.5x, 7.5x and 12.5x for between two and five on a winning payline. Another key detail is that this top-paying symbol can also land stacked on any reel.

Wilds

Look out for a coin bearing a four leaf clover and the word “wild” in green. This can replace all regular symbols from the paytable and may land on any reel. It also offers payouts of its own, with returns of 0.10x, 3x, 10x and 25x for between two and five matches.

Scatters

There are three different scatters that can land in this slot: a pot of gold, a well and a pipe-smoking leprechaun character. Each one triggers a separate bonus feature, as described below.

Well of Wealth Bonus

Landing three well scatters triggers the Well of Wealth Bonus. Here, you’ll simply pick one of the wells presented on the screen and receive a bet multiplier in return. Payouts range from 2x up to 500x. Choose your lucky well wisely!

Under the Rainbow Bonus

If three leprechaun scatters land on the reels, you’ll enter the most valuable bonus game, the Path of Gold feature. Pot O’Gold Review – Our Final Verdict

The whole “luck of the Irish” shtick is vastly overrepresented within the online gambling industry. There are literally hundreds of similar slots to try, featuring leprechauns, rainbows, shamrocks and clovers. Still, Pot O’Gold is without a doubt an interesting game, primarily due to its three distinct bonus rounds. 

These features are simple and engaging, but they also seem to land fairly often. However, it’s a tad disappointing that there’s no classic free spins bonus available. Such a feature would round things off nicely and make the game even more appealing. In addition, the maximum potential payout of 1,000x isn’t exactly incredible.

Overall the slot has a lot to offer. Aside from the interesting bonus rounds, an RTP of 96.99% is comfortably above-average, while the medium volatility supplies a steady stream of wins. The betting limits are wide too, ensuring the game will appeal to all players, regardless of bankroll.
