Holy Hand Grenade Review – Our Final Verdict
Given the title of this game, we were expecting something a little more witty, but Holy Hand Grenade does at least display some Python-esque surrealism. The religious goat references, for instance, feel like a weird joke that we might have missed.
Although we certainly enjoyed playing, the volatility of Holy Hand Grenade can be extremely frustrating. On several occasions, we won a total of less than 3x from the bonus feature, with one particularly irritating round returning just 0.4x! If you're going to make use of the Bonus Buy, we’d advise you to proceed with caution.
Overall, though, it’s good fun to play and there's a decent enough RTP and maximum potential win to keep you interested. Creating chains of explosions is extremely satisfying and, when the wins do come, they can be considerable.
