Crazy Money II Details, RTP and Volatility
This follow up to the original Crazy Money title was released back in 2014. Incredible Technologies elected to keep the same format, with a 5x3 grid and 15 paylines. Like most progressive jackpot slots, the maximum potential payout in Crazy Money II continues to grow until the prize is won.
A low-volatility slot, the bet limits are also on the small side. Play from just $0.20 up to a maximum of $10 per spin. The game usually runs with a 94.00% RTP, though lower versions of 92.00% and 90.00% exist at some online casinos.
Seven one-dollar bills land during the base game. Four of them occupy the second row, from the second to fifth reels.
Theme & Graphics in Crazy Money II
The cash-themed Crazy Money II slot features the same visuals as its predecessor. Its curved metallic reel is set against the backdrop of the gears of a money printing machine. These cogs also appear to be spinning the game’s reels.
Horizontal dollar bills, ranging from $1 to $20 in value, remain the regular symbols. However, diagonal notes of up to $500 can also appear on the grid to form Angle Pay wins. You’ll learn more about these later in this Crazy Money II review.
Each spin introduces a high-tempo dance music soundtrack which fades if you stop spinning, but returns when you resume. The sound effects are similar to most traditional slots. Expect clicks and whirrs from the reels, with jaunty jingles that play whenever you form a winning combination.
Crazy Money II Slot Features
The Crazy Money II slot boasts a range of features that can certainly match up to more recent releases. One of these is the Money Catch bonus, which starred in the first iteration of this game series. Learn more on that shortly, as we run through the various gameplay elements.
Regular Symbols
The regular symbols are dollar bills valued from $1 to $500. The $1, $5, $10, and $20 land across horizontal paylines, awarding prizes of between 0.1x and 5x for matching two to five identical symbols.
$10 to $50 bills can also form Angle Pay wins on diagonal paylines, earning you anything from 1x to 7.5x for two or three-symbol combinations. $100 and $200 bills, meanwhile, pay returns between 10x and 30x if two or three create an Angle Pay win.
Finally, the $250 and $500 bills can only create five-symbol Angle Pay wins, returning 62.5x and 125x.
Wilds
Crazy Money II does not have a wild symbol. A dollar sign sometimes appears on the reels which looks like a wild, but it doesn’t actually do anything.
Scatters
The slot’s scatter is a rainbow wheel bearing the word “Bonus”, which only appears in the base game. Land three or more of these to enter the vault and spin the Crazy Money II Wheel, which determines your bonus.
Crazy Money II Wheel Bonus
The Money Wheel feature issues a cash prize or one of two other bonuses. Should the wheel land on the blue or red segments, you’ll play the Mint Bonus and Money Catch Bonus, respectively. Alternatively, a number of cropped dollar bills occupy the other sectors of the wheel, each awarding a cash prize.
Trigger the Money Wheel with extra scatters and you’ll benefit from more valuable symbols on the wheel. For example, with three scatters, only one blue and red sector will appear. But with four and five, the lower-paying cash prizes are replaced with extra reds and blues.
Crazy Money II Money Catch Bonus
If Money Catch is activated, dollar bills begin to float and you’ll have 30 chances to pick some. Click on your desired banknote and its mystery value will be revealed, before that same amount is added to your wins.
Crazy Money II The Mint Bonus
Here, the Crazy Money II slot rewards you with 12 free spins on a special 3x3 set of reels. Only the higher-paying symbols will appear on this grid, with the addition of Gold Coins, which can trigger one of four progressive jackpots. You can collect up to 18 Gold Coins, which would trigger the largest jackpot.
Two dollar bills are selected during the Money Catch bonus, revealing 100 and 50 credits. One catch remains, seen below.
How to Play Crazy Money II Online
Although the paytable is a little confusing at first, it’s easy to actually operate the game. Enter your bet using the gold-colored arrows below the grid, or select the max bet using the button provided. Then, either hit the “SPIN” button to play, or configure up to 500 automatic spins by tapping “Auto Play”.
The value of any wins will be displayed on the screen in the bottom-right corner. These are formed by match from two to five identical symbols along one of the 15 paylines.

Crazy Money II Review – Our Final Verdict
After roughly a decade in the market, Crazy Money II still retains its appeal. This is proof of the slot’s timelessness, seemingly transcending the industry's ever-changing trends. The graphics look a tad dated, but the gameplay remains as fresh as it ever was.
The Money Catch bonus is one especially interesting feature. It reminds us of the adrenaline-pumping end game in the Crystal Maze TV show, with players expected to grab tokens blowing around them. However, The Mint feature is just as attractive, with its free spins and possible progressive jackpot wins.
However, it has to be said that an RTP of 94.00% is poor compared to modern slots. A low level of volatility keeps the wins coming in, but it remains a disappointingly tight rate. It may have worked at the time of the game’s release, but most of today’s players would be left wanting more.
